welcome to five rivers cafe

Imagine being able to break your journey half-way to Queenstown or Milford Sound by indulging in a latte and a fresh, homemade muffin or scone, while enjoying the scenic view of the mountains from the garden bar in summer or sitting on a comfy leather couch beside a roaring fire in winter.

Sound impossible in the country? You can at Five Rivers Cafe.

Five Rivers Cafe is a rural cafe, bar, art gallery and farmyard, located halfway between Queenstown and Te Anau on the tourist route to Milford Sound.

The cafe's friendly staff serve some of the best coffee and food in the South and also houses a large art gallery representing top artists from both the Otago/Southland region and nationally.

The cafe is open 7 days a week from 8am to 4pm.

Visitors to the cafe are often commenting about its unique atmosphere - the cafe is fitted out in true country rustic style.
